SAS Adds Al-Dora and Hay Tunis Branches to Its Aftersales Network in Baghdad
Iraq, Baghdad | February 2026As the authorized Toyota dealer appointed by Toyota Iraq, the exclusive owner of the Toyota trademark in Iraq, SAS Automotive Trade and Services Ltd. has expanded its Baghdad aftersales network through the opening of two new Toyota service centers. The first, located in Hay Tunis on Mohammed Al-Qasim Expressway, was inaugurated on February 2, 2026, followed by the opening of the second center in Al-Dora on February 3, 2026. These openings form part of a broader expansion plan aimed at strengthening aftersales coverage and delivering closer, more efficient service access for customers across the capital.
The inauguration ceremonies at both locations were attended by a number of official figures, alongside representatives from Toyota Iraq and SAS, as well as technical and administrative teams from both organizations. The events included the official ribbon-cutting, followed by guided tours of the new facilities, during which attendees were introduced to the latest Toyota-approved equipment and maintenance tools. The tours also highlighted the operational processes in place to ensure timely turnaround and precise workmanship in line with the highest professional standards, reflecting SAS’s commitment to delivering a comprehensive service experience grounded in quality and reliability.
During the inauguration of the Al-Dora branch, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Al-Ani, Al-Saydiyah Assistant City Responsible, stated that the opening represents a practical step in reinforcing Toyota’s presence in key districts of Baghdad. He added that this expansion reflects the company’s direction toward remaining closer to customers and delivering service at the level and timing that meet their expectations.
In turn, Mr. Ammar Hussein Ali, Al-Mansour Assistant City Responsible, noted during the opening of the Hay Tunis branch that the value of expanding service centers is not measured by the number of branches alone, but by the company’s ability to enhance service efficiency, accelerate maintenance procedures, and provide a smoother experience aligned with customers’ everyday needs.
These openings are part of an integrated service ecosystem led by Toyota Iraq in collaboration with SAS. The network now includes six service branches within Baghdad, in addition to more than twenty service teams distributed across various provinces in Iraq, supporting a broader vision focused on enhancing road safety and raising user awareness, particularly with regard to the responsible use of environmentally friendly vehicles.
The inauguration of the Al-Dora and Hay Tunis service centers marks a new milestone in Toyota Iraq and SAS’s ongoing efforts to advance aftersales services through carefully planned growth. This approach is underpinned by continued investment in infrastructure, strategic distribution of service locations to ensure accessibility and responsiveness, and the development of long-term customer relationships built on trust, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
